For Buyers

Who are Buyers?

Buyers are online shoppers who want to avail bank offers on e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart etc, but don’t have relevant credit cards.

Will I get the total discount?

You will share a part of the discount with the Cardholder who helped you avail the offer, with PiePay taking a small platform fee.

Will I get credit card details? Can I use that credit card later?

No, you won’t be provided with credit card details. Sharing of credit card details isn’t safe. Thus, you will not be provided with any card that can be used later.

Will I connect with the card-holder personally?

To begin with, there will be no direct connection between Buyers and Cardholders. However, in the near future, if your order isn't placed in 15 mins, you will get an option to list it, and then a chat will open up between you and the interested cardholder.

Are delivery address and order details shared with card-holder?

There is no sharing of personal information between Buyers and Cardholders.

How it works?

There is a separate tab describing how PiePay works.

Who do I pay money to?

You pay money to PiePay. PiePay then reimburses the cardholder when it's time. This is covered under ‘How it works’.

Do I need to pay immediately? How do I pay?

You will have to pay us once we find an interested cardholder for you. And that will happen within a 15-min session after you reach the checkout page, just as long as a regular session lasts.

Is bill going to be in my name?

Yes, bill will be in your name. It would just be like regular orders you make on e-commerce platforms, only the payment part would differ.

How can I return products?

If you want to return in the return period of the product, you can simply inform us first by opting for ‘return’ on a particular order on our app. You can then go ahead and return the product on the e-commerce platform the way you usually do.

Besides, to begin with, we would mostly be dealing with 7-day-replacement items only, like smartphones etc. So return cases would be rare.

What if card-holder doesn’t pay?

If the card-holder doesn’t pay after he has accepted the deal, you will be refunded to your source account. And then you may try placing the order again.

How do I know that the order is placed?

We will inform you. Also, you will able to check on your e-commerce account, on our app as well as e-commerce platform’s app.

What e-commerce platforms can I order products from?

Initially, we are handling only Flipkart orders. We will add more platforms as we progress.

Why do I trust you with my money?

We plan to add escrow support in the near future. Till then, we request you to give your trust in credit, you won’t be disappointed. Also, we are a registered private limited company.

For Cardholders

Who are cardholders? Why should they care?

Cardholders are people who own credit cards. If you play your cards right, you get hefty commissions, reward points, annual fee waivers etc without actually spending. You can also think of it as getting around 2-4% ROI* positively in a matter of a few days.

Can I register with someone else’s credit cards?

You can, as long as you are able to make payments from that card, assuming you have permission of the owner.

Do I have to place the order myself? Do I need to share my e-commerce accounts details?

No. No.

Is my credit card details safe? Do I need to store my card details?

Your credit card details are safe as we don’t require your details in our process, you will be paying directly to the e-commerce platform.

How much money can I make?

How much can you make depends upon the number of payments you make. On average, you can expect to make Rs. 300-500 per payment. And can even go as high as Rs. 2000-2500 per payment. Besides, you also get reward points and annual fees waiver for your spending.

Is my commission fixed?

Your commission will depend upon the discount amount that you help redeem.

How many orders can I pay for in a day?

Depends upon the types and number of cards you own and available offers on those cards.

When and how will I receive reimbursement and commission?

You will be reimbursed after 7 days of product delivery along with the commission in your unlocked wallet. You can withdraw money from the unlocked wallet into your bank account.

What if the item delivery is late and there is billing cycle involved in the same time frame?

We deal with 7-day-replacement only products, like smartphones, etc. So there is no case of return. In an unlikely scenario let's say there's still a case of return, the refund is sent directly to the source, which is the Cardholder. Besides, there's at least 21-day gap between the statement date and due date, it's less likely that return will not be settled during that period.

How do I know that the payment I made is successful?

We will notify you on the screen.

How do I know that offer is valid on my card? Would I still see deals on my cards, even if I have used an offer?

Before you accept, you will have to check if offer is valid on your card by putting in your card number on the payment page, which would be e-commerce platform’s payment page.

What about utilisation going up, and affecting my credit score?

We will reimburse you as soon as possible. Please be responsible and make sure you've paid the bills you incur using the platform before the statement date. Paying before the statement date doesn't add as your utilisation.

Is my money safe? Why should I trust you with my money?

Your money is safe, as we get the amount from the Buyer first. Then you make the payment to the e-commerce platform through our app. Once the product is delivered to the Buyer, we reimburse you the amount you paid plus your commission after the return window is over. So you don’t need to trust the Buyer in the process.

But you do still need to trust us. We plan to add escrow support in the near future. Till then, we request you to give your trust in credit, you won’t be disappointed. Also, we are a registered private limited company.
